Searcys – Chef de Partie
Searcys are looking for a creative and passionate Chef de Partie to join the team in the world famous National Portrait Gallery.
As a Chef de Partie in this venue you will get a chance to work with some of some of the best chefs in the business as well as having an interest in creating the finest of quality dishes alongside the Junior Sous Chef and Sous Chef. You will have a structured team, that you will work closely with to deliver lunch and dinner

Job Type: Full Time
Salary: up to £16.20 Per Hour
Key Responsibilities
- To provide food/service to a consistent high standard, including assisting senior chefs with functions in other different areas throughout the business.
- To liaise with key people in the team in order to plan for the provision of food in all kitchen area's
- To ensure smooth running of daily operations which include ensuring no disruption to the pre agreed menu offer.
- Responsible to manage stock levels of that specific area including ordering when required as well as waste control.
- Ensure the presentation of the food is consistent with the standards set by senior chefs.
- To comply with all legal requirements with particular reference to (but not exclusively) fire regulations, security, licence requirements and any Local Authority or Client stipulations.
- To ensure all Health, Hygiene and Safety requirements are being adhered to
- Very well organised and ability to prioritise work load
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent standards
- Experience in working in a 5 star hotel or Michelin star restaurant is desirable
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
