    CHAMPAGNE

    CHAMPAGNE POL COURONNE

The Maison was founded in 1887 by Pol Auguste Couronne in Hautvillers – a village famously known as the cradle of Champagne. Today, the House is owned by the fifth generation of the family, represented by Jean-Baptiste Prevost and Sixtine Prevost, who breathed new life into the brand about six years ago. Often considered “the Champagne for Millennials”, Pol Couronne offers a fresh, modern and dynamic take on Champagne while remaining true to the values and the traditions passed down from the ancestors of the family.

    LAURENT-PERRIER Grand Siècle

A unique opportunity to sample some of the best vintages in Champagne. Le Grand Siècle, named after the prosperous era of 17th-century France, is known for its ability to achieve what nature alone cannot. This period, famously orchestrated by Louis XIV, known as the ‘Sun King,’ symbolised harmony, balance, and perfection. Within the exquisite Château de Versailles and its magnificent gardens, he cultivated Mediterranean fruits, including the enchanting Orangerie, and crafted remarkable features like the Grand Canal, fountains, and ponds, despite the absence of nearby rivers.
Inspired by this visionary concept, Laurent-Perrier present their exceptional paired champagne, Grand Siècle, Laurent-Perrier’s prestigious cuvée, crafted to attain a level of perfection beyond nature’s grasp.

Grand Siècle’s assemblage is based on principles that have now become immutable:

    • Careful selection of three exceptional years, each complementing the others in character, exclusively from the rare Laurent-Perrier vintages.
    • A primary focus on Chardonnay Pinot Noir and sourced exclusively from up to 11 Grands Crus, among the 319 Crus of the Champagne region.
    • A minimum of 10 years of aging on lees in their Cellars for each bottle. Also available in Magnum, an extra-time on lees will be given to each of them, postponing their release by a few years.

Since 1959, Grand Siècle has only been recreated 25 times for the bottle format and 23 times for the Magnum.

    CHAMPAGNE FREREJEAN FRÈRES

Frerejean Frères is a fine Champagne Maison founded by brothers Guillaume, Richard and Rodolphe Frerejean-Taittinger. Growing up in the grand cru village of Avize, the three brothers spent their childhoods surrounded by Champagne.

Embracing their heritage and inspired by the local expertise of Champagne growers, in 2005 the Frerejean brothers set out to create a new, unconventional Champagne Maison, with fifth generation winemaker Didier Pierson at the helm. Originally intended for friends and family, the brothers’ Champagne became so widely sought-after that the business began to grow.

Focusing on traditional techniques, Frerejean Frères is leading Champagne’s ‘quiet revolution’ – a shift towards low quantity, high quality and characterful Champagnes. Quality, terroir, and craftmanship are at the heart of the Maison. The Frerejean Frères’ Cuvées are produced using only Premier and Grand Cru Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vines, with an aging process that takes a minimum of five years to ensure added complexity and finesse.

The Frerejean Frères House works hand-in-hand with some of the greatest names in the world of gastronomy and luxury hotels, and is a proud partner of 2022 French Michelin Guide for the third time.

    PERRIER-JOUET

Maison Perrier-Jouët was founded in 1811 from a couple’s shared love of nature and passion for art. From the start, they chose the Chardonnay grape variety as the signature of the House, defining the intricate floral style which sets Perrier-Jouët Champagnes apart.

Today, art and nature remain an endless source of inspiration, guiding the Maison’s every action and creation: in the way they tend their vines, craft their wines, and share their vision of the world – a vision of a life richer in meaning, driven not by the urge to own, but the desire to thrive; a life lived with joy and purpose, in symbiosis with nature.

    DRAPPIER

Champagne Drappier is a family-owned Champagne House based in the south of the Champagne region. Founded in 1808, the House is renowned for crafting complex Champagnes from their unique calcareous terroir, and for combining innovative techniques with elegant flavours over centuries. Today, Michel Drappier and his three children, Charline, Hugo and Antoine Drappier still produce terroir-driven vintage and non-vintage cuvées, with their prestige Champagne known as Grande Sendrée.

The Côte des Bar has been firmly established as a vineyard cru of exceptional promise, especially for Pinot Noir, due almost entirely to the efforts of the Drappier family. Sustainability pioneers, the Drappiers have been investing for over 10 years to massively reduce their greenhouse gas emissions and change their everyday behaviour to become the first and only carbon neutral certified Champagne House, while practicing minimal intervention and minimal dosage. Champagne Drappier is a new wave producer keeping the Champagne dream alive.

    TAITTINGER

Champagne Taittinger remains one of the few Champagne Houses to be owned and actively managed by the family named on the label. The House’s origins date back to 1734 with the founding of the original House, Forest-Fourneaux. The link to Taittinger was established by Pierre Taittinger in 1932, when he bought the historic Château de la Marquetterie. Today, the Reims-based House is headed up by Pierre’s great grandchildren: Vitalie and Clovis Taittinger.

The hallmark of Taittinger’s Champagnes is the high percentage of Chardonnay used in the winemaking, which can be anything from 40% in the Brut Réserve Non-Vintage to 100% in the prestigious Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs. This Chardonnay dominance provides a style of elegance, delicacy and finesse that is recognised worldwide.

    MOËT & CHANDON

At the House of Moët & Chandon, savoir-vivre is a tradition and ‘savoirfête’ a specialty. Since 1743, when it was first founded, the House of Moët & Chandon has been passing down from generation-to-generation unparalleled winemaking expertise and an innovative and pioneering spirit.

Claude Moët, its founder, was the first person to embody these values as his Champagne was soon to become the official supplier to the Royal Court of France and its king, Louis XV. Following in his footsteps, his grandson Jean-Rémy Moët, a visionary mind in his own right, had the dream to share the magic of Champagne with the rest of the world. Armed with his faith in modernity and progress, he studied the fermentation and aging processes of pressed grapes and tested new techniques to reinforce the quality of his wines. Soon after, the delectable Champagne would go on to cross international borders and become a worldwide recognised symbol of celebration and success.

With its 1,190 hectares of rich limestone soil, 50% of which is classed as Grand Cru and 25% Premier Cru, Moët & Chandon holds today the largest vineyards in the Champagne region and the broadest range of unique wines to cater for every occasion. From the iconic Moët & Chandon Impérial to the Grand Vintage Collection, from the extroverted Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial to the innovative Moët & Chandon Ice Impérial, each Champagne dazzles and delights with bright fruitiness, an enticing palate, and an elegant maturity.

Below their sun-drenched south facing slopes is the same chalk band that connects the us with Champagne, helping to produce vibrant, rich, and elegant sparkling and still wines.
